As far as I remember, there is no way to set default graphics card in bios, even there is no way to set up amount of for Intel graphics memory in 5530. You can set it up in Nvidia Settings Panel in Windows, but default card on boot or wake up is always Intel Problem is solved.. The GPU is connected with a PCI-E riser cable which supports only PCI-E 3.0. On BIOS default is on "Auto" but it looks like that don't work.
May 09, 2011 · I'm running Ubuntu 11.04 and there is a screen flicker that occurs on various sections of the screen at random times roughly spaced a couple minutes apart. I think it could be an issue with the graphics driver. The Additional Drivers utility tells me that NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version current) is activated but not currently in use.
