I thought I would try it with my Tronxy X5S corexy. I'm getting strange results using PrusaSlicer and Slic3r on some prints. For some reason it's causing the top of small perimeters to look like a blob. I get good results with Cura and Kisslicer. Edit, the same extrusion percentage in each slicer. One print is sliced with Cura.

However, if you don’t know the previous position of the toolhead, or you simply know that you want to move the head a certain distance along an axis, you can use relative positioning.
